Officers, Officers from Berlin Twp, Berlin Boro, Pine Hill, Waterford and the Camden County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene and assisted with the search. Despite his injury, the officer continued the chase and captured one of the two subjects. During this initial foot pursuit, a Winslow Officer sustained a deep laceration to his hand as he climbed a 7-foot fence. Initial officers gave chase on foot and subsequently captured two of the four suspects within ½ mile of their car. As marked units activated their overhead lights, the vehicle parked abruptly and all four occupants fled on foot towards a wooded area. Responding units observed the vehicle on New Brooklyn Road.
The subjects were reported to be armed with a handgun. for a carjacking that just occurred involving four subjects. On 10-29-18 at 4:22 pm Winslow Police were dispatched to Dunham Loop in the Tansboro section of Winslow Twp.
